BRISA have the great pleasure of inviting you to the fifth edition of the
COMMODORE CUP REGATTA to be held
on February 18, 2012 at Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

The
regatta will be governed by the rules and ratings as defined in The
Us Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing (except as altered by the Notice
of Race, the Sailing Instructions and/or any Supplemental Sailing
Instructions)

Eligibility and Entry
-
The
event is open to all boats. A minimum of three boats will constitute
a Category.

Eligible boats may enter by completing the registration form and
making complete payment of the registration fees. Registration
forms and waivers of liability have to be filled.

Fees
-
A
$100.00 Fee will be charges to all boats registering in the
race. Early bird registration before February 4, 2012 will be
$70.00. BRISA members $ 60.00

A

Registration in the
COMMODORE CUP REGATTA
is available by completing the registration form and waiver of
liability.

Any changes will be announced official on VHF Channel 6.

Multiple races area scheduled to be race on this date as time and weather
permits. All races are scheduled to be run back-to-back after all the
competitors in the class have finished the course. A minimum of one (1)
race will constitute a regatta.

Identification of Sails / Boats
-
Each
boat should provide a clearly visible, unique, non repeated form of
identification on its sail or hull. In the case of a duplicate
number the last boat to be registered should modify his before the
first warning signal in order to participate in the races.

Sailing Instructions
-
The
sailing instructions will be available at the registration desk at
the time of registration. The sailing instructions may modify the
racing rules.

Venue
-
The
racing area will be the waters around the “Rada de Fajardo”
-
Courses
-
Courses are to be established based on weather and wind conditions
at the day of the first race, as identified on the sailing
instructions.

Prizes
-
Trophies will be awarded to the first three competitors of each
class. An Award Ceremony is scheduled for 1800 hours, February 18,
2012 at designated area.

Trophies will be awarded for the OVERALL winner
